Happy, Healthy Birthdays
Celebrations are an important part of any culture.
2020 reminded us how much families love celebrating their children’s birthdays and, with venues in lockdown and visitors not allowed in homes, Sentia Early Learning became ‘the place’ for celebrating birthdays with friends.
In response, we have developed a birthday package, complete with the healthiest, most allergen-friendly cake we could create. Sentia-themed decorations and treat bags (filled with hours of educational fun) for each friend in the room are included.
As Sentia Early Learning launches the ‘Birthday Party Package’, I wanted to share the principles that guided its development:
· Simple celebrations are the best. Why not use creative social experiences such as stories, rhymes, art, games and music as a way of celebrating a child’s special day?
· Healthy eating policies still apply to celebrations. Here is what the experts say:

· We don’t want any families to feel financial pressure to throw a big party. Because of this, lolly bags and/or gifts for all the children in the room are not allowed.
· Best of all, families are warmly welcome to share in birthday celebration at the Centre. Educators take happy snaps of the occasion and share these with families via the app, regardless of whether they attend or not.
Happy Birthday, one and all – Sentia style!
